Steel Challenge
Registration begins at 9:00am. Mandatory Safety meeting at 9:45am then shooting starts at 10:00am. Match cost: $10 for male members or $5 for female members, and $15 for male non-members or $10 for female non-members. Pack a lunch. Shoots will be in 6 stages, and each stage will have 5 targets of various size and distance. The shooter will have 5 runs at the targets per stage and misses can be made up with your highest run time being a throw out. The stop plate is the last target to be shot on the stage. Minimum rounds per stage is 25 and misses can be made up, so bring lots of ammo. The ideal situation is to have give magazines for this shoot but you can get by with three, having someone loading your magazines as you empty two of them. For more information, search "The Steel Challenge" on YouTube. Handgun calibers from .22 to .45 accepted (no magnum rounds) - rifles in handgun calibers are accepted. This is a fun shoot so don’t be worried about other shooters, just come and have fun. We keep score but again it’s just for fun. Revolvers and Semi-autos will be in separate categories, as well as .22 and centre fire firearms. Shooter limit is currently a total of 25, so register early.
